I just got updated measurements on Malia. The other measurements were from September. I am so excited because this helps me to know what size she might be in when I travel to get her.
Height: 34 inches
Weight: 26.9 lbs
Foot length: 4.8 inches
This puts her now closer to the 50th percentile for weight and height on the U.S. charts.
As far as I can tell this means that she might be in a maybe a size 5 shoe and 24 month/2T clothes. Whew, our initial guess is right based on the growth charts we did.
No update on travel approval yet. I am hoping to hear in the next week or two.

ReplyDeleteI have an 18 month winter jacket you can have. Both my girls wore it well into the age of 3. Ella still was wearing it this winter and she will be 3 next month and is 32 lbs. Elizabeth recently got a new one and Ella got Elizabeth's. I have always thought it was mismarked.

I'd vote for a size 6 shoe. Muriel is alreay in a size six at 23 lbs! Although Tess is a size 5 at 23 lbs.
ReplyDeleteGenevieve is still in a Siza 4 at 24.5 lbs, but she does have small feet... plus she is very close to moving up in to a 5 due to some recent foot growth!
ReplyDeleteI'll be curious to see what Malia's meausurements are when she had her physical in Guangzhou -but I bet these are pretty accurate!

We waited & bought Olivia some shoes while in China. I'm so glad we did because her feet are pretty big (she has long toes) even tho she's petite. I still have a hard time figuring out what size socks she wears ;)
