I can't believe that tomorrow we will already have been home one week. I am so fortunate to be Malia's mom. She is doing amazingly well adjusting to home. She has slept through the night every night since we have been together. She also takes a solid 2-3 hour nap (which is my time to clean up, check email, make phone calls, etc). We have been out to the indoor play area at the Eden Prairie mall, the park, and today the zoo. We are just doing short outings right now to show her some places we can go but that we always end up at home. She is eating well and loves playing with her new toys but bath time is still her favorite. She would take 3 a day if I would let her. Here are some pictures of our first week home. Enjoy!!
Thanks for the new pictures!!!! She is the cutest thing ever- she just put the biggest smile on my face. I am glad to hear everything is going so well- it just goes to show that you weren't meant to be mother and daughter. Give her a big hug for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update. I'm so glad that the transition for both of you is going well! It sounds like you have things totally under control and I couldn't be happier for you. I can't wait to see you two again. Take care.

YAY, Malia! I'm so impressed that she transitioned to the time change w/o a bump - that is SO AWESOME!!! Love all these smiley photos - keep 'em coming, mom!
